I’m here to share insights from a real estate appraiser’s perspective—whether you’re looking to maximize your home’s value, get the best ROI as an investor, or simply make smarter decisions about your property.

As someone who sees about 6-10 different homes each week, I get to see firsthand what has the biggest impact on value. I hope you’ll follow along as I share all tips, trends, strategies, and market activity as I see it in real time.

A Little Back Story: 

My Background in Real Estate began in the late 90s when I worked for a mortgage lending company in Upstate NY. After living and working in Florida and Washington, D.C. for a few years, I returned to Central NY where I obtained my license to sell real estate.

I found that being a salesperson wasn’t the best fit for me. However, I learned a great deal about the industry.

In 2003 I took on a new role as an appraiser trainee, where I began the arduous path to becoming a Certified Residential Appraiser. I genuinely enjoy this career and haven’t looked back since! 

I’ve also made investments in the real estate industry in the form of rental properties, and successfully “flipped” my first house in 2018.
